New Releases

There will always be new movies (hopfully). Here is a page dedicated to films that have just came out (at the time of post...maybe). There will be my opinion, Of course for it is my site, but because your not here for just my opinion (I'm not sure why your here to begin with) I'll add some REAL reviewers opinions just for the heck of it.

a list: of new(ish) relsease.

  • Star Wars: The Force Awakens: This was a great film. I had to see it more then once bacause of how great it was. The action is fantastic, the actors (new and old) were amazing, the cinematography as great. The one gripe I have with the movie is a spoiler so... WARNING! WARNING! It is that Luke is one of the most payed actors, and was only in the film for 30 seconds and the VERY end, and did not say a word. Other then that the movie blowed my expetation away. I'll give Star Wars The Force Awakens an A+/10

  • The Hateful 8:Quentin Tarantino's 8th film The Hateful 8. The movie is quite long with a 2 hour and 57 minute run time, and is uses every second of it to its advantage. Tarantio knows how to keep people entertained with useing converastional dialogue and fantastic acting. Sam L does a great job and keeps the film intesting and leads as the head man for the movie. The rest of the cast gives great performances, even though there is only focus of really 3 charaters and you will see what I mean if you see the movie. I wish I could have seen it on 70mm like it was filmed on but stuff happens. The problems that the movie has are kind of big ones and some will require spoilers, so you have been warned. The major problem is that the best part of the movie is the who done it kind of aspect alittle over half way. It is like a grown up game of Clue. altho it only lasts maybe 20 minutes and ends in a really ex-machina why. Its almost like he could not for the life of him come up with a good way to end it. That is what I think is just bad writing. Its almost like he wanted to cover up his bad writing with an over complicated twist so it seems like an in genius artical of writing. other then that I just wished that the other charaters had more screen time beacuse some of them were in fact cool. I'll give The Hatful 8 a Buy on DVD.

  • The Revenant: Yet another breathtaking film by Alejandro González Iñárritu. This is one of the years best movies, the cinematography is the best I have EVER SEEN. I was blow away in my seat for most of the film if only for the cinematography and camra shots thought the film. The scene with the bear is one of the best scenes I have ever seen in a movies EVER, and would pay admition price alone for the scene. This film is also very brutal, in the way of a man trying his best to survive and to enact on his white hot rage of a powerful and emotional reveange sceme. it is not really a violent movies forsay but its a brutal and unforgiving film. I would most definetly say see this movie for anyone who loves movies or cinematography, or just wants to watch a movie. Leo does great as always, and Tom Hardy gives a fantastic perfomace that deserves an Oscar. Of course this movie gets an A+/10
